
Evan has been singing since he was 4. His father was a Jazz Sax player with Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich and Louis Armstrong. He grew up hearing excellent music. After Acappella Madrigal choirs and various styles of music; Rock ~ Jazz ~ Horn-based R & B, he found himself opening for the Johnny Mathis Show with a 7 member vocal & dance group. Vegas...Reno...Tahoe... Tahoe looked so good he moved there for 10 years. When finally going back to Orange County, California he performed with several mainstream bands as a lead guitar player / lead vocalist or both. From Santa Barbara to San Diego, ultimately being hired by Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers as the lead vocalist for his 12-piece horn-based Motown Band in Bills clubs called The Hop. After a time the call of the islands brought him to Maui where he's performed for more than two decades in everything from 16-piece show bands to Solo Acoustic Guitar & Voice performances. Evan has performed for all the major hotels including, but not limited to, the Ritz Carlton ~ Maui Marriott ~ Kapalua Bay Hotel ~ Grand Wailea Resort ~ Inter-Continental ~ Maui Prince ~ Hyatt Regency ~ Westin ~ Sheraton and the Kea Lani. Hes also performed at many restaurants on Maui such as Kimos ~ Crab Catcher ~ Longhis ~ Sea House ~ The Kapalua Bay Club ~ Anuenue ~ Jamesons ~ the list goes on. If you're in the islands you'll be sure to hear some of the commercial jingles and scores created by Evan for clients such as the Hyatt Regency, Cruise, Lipoa Center, Rainbow Chaser, Maui Ocean Center...etc.
In 1989, having accumulated the necessary equipment and experience on several instruments he published his first C.D. entitled CELEBRATE LIFE. Now preparing tracks for his 2nd C.D. he offers his life of musical experience to you and your clients. No job too big or too small, and all are treated with professionalism.
